Exercise of the Month - March 2011:
“Increasing Energy Levels for Your Training Sessions”

If there’s one question I get all the time, it’s “How can I improve my energy for my workouts?”  People sometimes expect be to answer with a recommended food or supplement, when in fact it’s what you do the night before that makes the biggest difference.  I should actually re-phrase that and say what you fail to do can make a huge difference.  The missing component, in my opinion, is the lack of a nighttime routine to wind down.  Lowering levels of light, avoiding screen time 60-90 minutes before bed, amongst other things, helps increase your quality of sleep, thus improving your energy.
